THE TRUTH OF GOD

What is Truth? For thousands of years generations have asked this very question. However, few have actually attained any real answers. If you really want to know what truth is, you must first answer the question, “what do I believe about the Bible?” The Bible is the Word and the Word became man to dwell among us. Truth isn't simply a list of things to know, rather it is a man to be known. Truth isn't something, Truth is someone. Truth is the Gospel and Jesus is the Gospel. Without Jesus there is no good news. Through His life and teaching, Jesus takes the long story of God's unique revelations and declares Himself the key. The message of Truth has not changed because the Gospel is the same as it always has been. Truth stands the test of time. We guard these teachings. We treasure these teachings. We freely share these teachings.

THE WORSHIP OF GOD

One of the greatest gifts mankind has ever experienced is simply the access to worship the Living God. Our worship extends beyond the traditional singing of hymns or giving of money in an offering. We believe that within body of Christ there should be freedom to worship thru the arts – poetry, painting, and dance. Through our lives, we lead day to day, we worship God by the decision we make, the way we treat our spouse, raise our children, feed the poor – the words we say – the thoughts we think...and the list goes on and on. God, in His supreme wisdom and foresight, has offered to us His gift of worship in such a manner that we can incorporate it into every aspect of our life.

THE COMMUNITY OF GOD

God—as Father, Son and Holy Spirit—exists in eternal community. God, rich in grace and mercy, has woven us into His community. We are now a community of Believers that extends far beyond the walls of any building. Within community we lean on others when we are weak. We learn to carry when others are weak. We weep with those who are hurt, as well as to celebrate in others victories. We practice the art of servant hood – placing a higher value on the lives of others, rather than ourselves.

THE MISSION OF GOD

We live in community but to live in community does not fix the need for community. The community of God is called to live in community on mission. God is a missional God who sent His Son to save His people. God has called His people to live on mission to declare and demonstrate the excellencies of Jesus Christ.

We believe that there is a mission in the midst of the madness. We believe there is a calling for us to be salt – a seasoning that influences its surroundings. We are to reflect God’s light in a world that is groping in the dark. We are to bind the wounds of the broken hearted – to feed the hungry – to cloth the naked. We believe we are called to know Truth, and to teach the disillusioned. We believe God has equipped the Body of Christ with gifts, talents, and resources not for themselves, but rather to give away! We believe or Mission begins locally - extends regionally, nationally, and ultimately globally. Our mission is the priority over the course of our journey.
